Lewis Flamson Junior High

Lewis Flamson Junior High would like to invite you to the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony on June 4, at 8:30 AM at Lions Field. If you will be joining us, please read below for important information regarding the ceremony, admission, seating, and parking.

STUDENT DROP OFF

Students should come to school as normal. Our gates open at 7:50am. Students will go to their first period class where they will take roll before proceeding to the courts to line up for the procession to Lions Field at 8:30am.

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS & DRESS CODE

• Dress Code: Semi-formal attire is expected (pants, dresses, button-up shirts). Please note that no caps or gowns are permitted.
• Footwear: We request that attendees and students wear flat shoes due to the uneven terrain on the field.
• Electronics: No student cellphones will be allowed during the ceremony.

FAMILY EXPECTATIONS 

• Please do not bring balloons, posters, BigHeads, banners or signs that will obscure the view of others. No alcohol, balloons, airhorns, whistles, fireworks, or weapons of any kind are allowed.
• The weather in June can be very warm and sunny in Paso Robles. We STRONGLY encourage all in attendance to bring water and wear sunscreen. NO ice chests will be allowed in.

ADMISSION & SEATING

No tickets are required for entry! All family, friends, and loved ones are welcome to join us in celebrating our students. Please bring your own chairs or a picnic blanket to enjoy the ceremony comfortably on the field.

EVENT PARKING & ENTRANCES

We anticipate that parking will be difficult. Please DO NOT park in the parking lots of neighboring businesses. If you choose to use street parking, please be respectful of all posted parking notifications. 

There will be two primary entrance locations to access Lions Field:

• Entrance Pool Gate: Located near the pool, accessible from Vine Street.
• Entrance Gate: Located off the one-way alley, accessible from Spring Street.

AFTER THE CEREMONY

All 8th grade students will leave with their parents or guardians at the conclusion of the promotion ceremony.
