As a school dedicated to providing a safe environment for your child, we prioritize our athletes' well-being during sports activities. Our coaching staff is trained in various safety procedures including CPR, first aid, and heat safety. We have AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) located around campus; there is an AED located inside the gym.

An additional area of importance, is the prevention and management of concussions. We take all suspected concussions seriously and have a strict return-to-play protocol in place. If a concussion is suspected, proper medical evaluation, and clearance, are required before a student can resume participation in LFJH sports.

To ensure your child's safety, it is mandatory that they are registered in Home Campus and have a current sports physical clearing them for participation in sports. By adhering to these requirements, we are able to promote a safe and healthy athletic experience for all student-athletes.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's safety during sports activities. We are committed to providing a safe, secure, and supportive environment for all athletic endeavors.

Lewis Flamson Junior High recognizes that participation in school athletics demands a commitment of time and energy from student-athletes not typically required of other students. As a school, we provide a variety of support services and resources to assist students in academics and individual growth. Our ultimate goal is positive character as well as the development of skills & teamwork at the highest level for all who represent Lewis Flamson Junior High. It is this commitment to excellence that makes us proud to be Jaguars!
